Kendall Edwards and Ian Williams Racing have teamed up to supply and sponsor three runners to attack the London Marathon on behalf of the GNO. The three runners who have volunteered for the 2008 race are:

Every year a number of people put themselves forward to run the Flora London Marathon on behalf of the GNO. Significant funds have been raised over the years via the sponsorship it produces. Every penny raised from the event will go as sponsorship to the marathon runners and will be passed directly to the GNO.
The 26 mile run is not to be underestimated. The GNO Marathon Team runners dedicate extensive time and effort to be able to endure this gruelling challenge in order to make a difference.
The benefactor of the event, “The Gentlemen’ s Night Out” organisation raises funds through an annual major Christmas Dinner held in Birmingham, London Marathon Teams, appeals and donations. The GNO is supported by a vast array of leading business people, corporations, entrepreneurs and PLCs. To date the GNO has raised in excess of £3m and with our help, can continue to make a difference.
The GNO, which was established over 40 years ago, distributes funds regardless of race, colour, creed or age to individuals and organisations not able to raise all the necessary funds for themselves. The GNO also raise funds for other beneficiaries for whom a seemingly small donation can deliver a profound and long lasting effect.
The uniqueness of the GNO is that ALL monies raised goes directly to its beneficiaries without any deduction for administration or peripheral overheads.
In addition to the many beneficiaries supported by the GNO, last years fund raising activities enabled the GNO to send 100 extremely poorly children to Lapland for Christmas and over 400 children and young adults to a number of Olympic athletic and swimming galas in conjunction with the charity “When you wish upon a star.”
